Day highlights

We are more than happy to be part of this Erasmus+ project 2019-2020, “Challenges for rural schools” and to host our great friends from Villaputzu, Cerdeña and Ilowo-Osada, Poland, at IES Don Juan Manuel in Cifuentes.

We greatly enjoyed watching your presentations this early morning about your schools and towns, and we hope you liked the beautiful surrounding landscapes and the historical sites of our small town Cifuentes.

Happy faces and smiles filled our hearts for 7 days, and you can be sure they will stay with us forever.  Interesting workshops making crafts and badges, flags and flower vases, and playing kahoot games kept us busy during the morning after a great “getting to know each other activity.” A delicious cup of hot chocolate and some “churros” was next, followed by a nice, relaxing walk around our town visiting the pond, the castle, the hermitage, the church, the main and “triangular” square, walking slowly through narrow streets and up the hills. The afternoon was exciting, too, with traditional games prepared by our students who happily volunteered to come and meet their friends again.  Have a look at the photos of such amazing day of fulfilled expectations.

Thanks a lot to all the families who so gladly welcomed children in their homes this week, to the teachers always caring and attentive, and the students who helped us so willingly to make Erasmus+ a project worth to participate in and keep it going!
