Day highlights
This was day 6 and we have to say that friendships and bonds are becoming strong day by day. Today we visited the newest nuclear plant in Spain located in Trillo, by the Tajo River and it was interesting to learn how energy is produced. We then went to Sigüenza, a memorable, historical town as a final visit of our exciting journey. There, we were first welcomed by the tourist guide right outside what was originally the castle, now somehow rebuilt as a Parador Hotel. He told us curious anecdotes of places like the church and its sided door and columns, the narrow street opposite that door, the Town Hall, and the main square.
Next, it was time for lunch and friendly chats with our Polish friends.
Breath taking was also the thorough guided visit to the cathedral, an impressive building with the most original and beautiful mixture of styles from Early Gothic to Romanesque.
